Yerkebulan Muratovich Daiyrov was born on August 12, 1986, in Karasaz village, Raimbek District, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. In 2008, he graduated from the Faculty of Musical Theater and Variety Arts at the T. K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. Since 2006, he has been an actor at the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater. Over the years, he has received several prestigious awards, including the "Serper" Youth Union Prize in 2013, the Baurzhan Momyshuly "Namys" Order in 2015, and the title of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan in 2018. In 2021, he gained international recognition by winning the "Best Asian Actor" award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the movie Sunflower, directed by Eli Gilman. On July 25, 2014, he married actress Leila Muratovna Tleuova. The couple has two daughters, Kausar (born March 23, 2015) and Salima (born May 5, 2019), as well as a son, Bauyrzhan (born November 16, 2022). Yerkebulan Daiyrov is known for his roles in films such as Kash (2022), The Way of the Leader: Astana (2018), and Amre (2018).
